I like that you rank each theory according to how funny it is. Does this mean, how well it explains the humor, or how much humor it actually presents? In any case, it does seem that relief theory is closely related to the social dimension: it explains why we find repeated inside jokes, which aren't necessarily incongruous any more, funny. It is about the reminiscence. It seems that unless you find something relieving, it won't necessarily be funny. It's hard to come up with an instance of humor that violates some aspect of relief theory.
